Uudet laserporaustekniikoiden edistysaskeleet ovat pienent\u00e4neet microvioiden koon jopa 15 \u00b5m:iin.  <\/p>\n<p>Porauksen ja puhdistuksen j\u00e4lkeen reik\u00e4 pinnoitetaan joko suihkutusprosessilla, elektrolyyttisell\u00e4 pinnoituksella tai kemiallisella kuparipinnoituksella. Pinnoitusprosessin tavoitteena on est\u00e4\u00e4 onttojen, painaumien, kohoumissa tai muiden rakenteellisten virheiden muodostuminen t\u00e4ytetyss\u00e4 rei\u00e4ss\u00e4. Pinnoitusprosessissa t\u00e4ytt\u00f6aineen lis\u00e4aineet ovat v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6mi\u00e4, koska niiden puute voi johtaa onttojen muodostumiseen.
